Checklist (15 Minutes)

Torque check: mounting screws, strike plate, handle set. Re-apply blue threadlocker if needed.
Lube lightly: latch/bolt faces only, with light synthetic. Never drown the mechanism.
Gasket health: inspect for cracks/compression set; replace if hardened.
Connector sanity: unplug/replug quick-disconnect; verify firm latch and clean contacts.
Battery refresh: test under load; swap if approaching end of season, favor lithium in winter.
Firmware/settings: confirm beeps off, LEDs dim, guest codes removed.
Actuation test: 10 cycles; listen for new noises; confirm smooth latch engagement.

Update the service card in the door cavity (date, actions, parts). Future you will actually high-five you.
